For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by animals and nature. As a child the best thing I knew was to run around outdoors, preferably bare feet. I love all creatures, and had a special affinity for the smallest members of the natural world, like ladybugs and earthworms. My relationship with nature and animals was just as carefree as a child can have. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.

What would Urho say if he could talk?

I didn’t become a veterinarian in the end, but was able to realize my dream of having my own animal friend in 2014, when my great love, a Bernese Mountain Dog named Urho, entered my life. Urho opened my heart not only to immense love but also to the fact that a dog can be so much more than “just” a dog.

“I wonder what Urho would say if he could talk?”, my mother used to ask. In 2019, I decided to find out and contacted an animal communicator.

The communication had a dramatic effect – not only on my relationship with Urho, but on my entire world view. I was fascinated.

I wanted to learn this, too! I read and researched everything I could find about the topic and eventually signed up for my first course.

After a while I dropped the whole thing. My rational mind was stubborn and questioned whether interspecies communication was possible at all. It took me years of soul searching and dismantling old programming and limiting thought patterns. In the summer of 2023 I finally decided to give my everything to becoming a professional animal communicator.

Why animal communication?

Why animal communication?

Animal communication combines my love for animals, my gift for languages and communication, and a deep empathy and a sensitivity that have been part of me since childhood.

Talking with animals has opened up a whole new world and dimension to my life. A few years ago, I would not have believed how rich a soul life a dog, a cat, a turtle or a guinea pig could have. Communicating with animals is so much fun and so exciting! Each conversation is like an exploration into the depths of the soul of a new being, and no two communications are the same – just as no two animals are the same. In every communication, I learn something new about animals, humans, and life itself.

I am deeply grateful to be able to do this work. It so greatly enriches my life. My wish is to open the door to this world for others as well. I dream of a world in which every human remembers this ability in themselves and finds the beauty and connection that animal communication can open. My role is to build bridges between different species and worlds.

My credentials

I have studied animal communication since 2020, with a number of teachers, amongst them Americans Sharon Loy and Carol Gurney. In 2024, I completed a one-year certificate training with German Claudi Widder.

Currently I am pursuing advanced studies under the guidance of American Penelope Smith, a worldwide pioneer in the field of interspecies communication.

My studies and work are based on the method of Penelope Smith, and guided by Penelope’s Code of Ethics.

Academically, my background includes a Master of Arts in German language and literature, with a minor in social psychology and administration. I have worked in expert positions in international development for more than ten years – two of them in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

As well as being a native Finnish speaker I am fluent in both English and German. I am comfortable doing my work in all three languages.

CLIENTS SAY

I felt certain changes in my dog Sissi already after the first communication. She’s calmer and is feeling better physically. I also felt a change in myself and I’m feeling better overall.

From my heart I recommend Lina for animal communication, as well as for consultations in Bach flower remedies. The interaction with her is very open and friendly.

Through Lina I received answers from my cat to all my questions. I for example asked how the cat feels about nail clipping and visits to the vet, and what to consider when feeding her.
